La Rivière has taken up residence on a 7-hectare wooded and flower-filled estate, where the sound of birdsong, the sound of water, and the rustling of the wind in the trees will accompany you throughout your stay.

You will be charmed by the landscape created by the cliffs, the Vézère River, the verdant nature, and the village of Les Eyzies. The main building blends perfectly into this natural, unspoiled setting.

You'll feel alone in the world, while being just a 10-minute walk from the village center and all its amenities.

A family story

Our family-run campsite in Les Eyzies opened in the 1960s, founded by the grandparents of the current owners. Their parents took over in 1984, before passing the torch to Marie-Paule and Amandine, the two sisters, in 2013. Today, we continue to uphold the values of hospitality, accessibility, and environmental preservation. Our goal has always been clear: to offer you the Périgord Noir and the Dordogne region, while ensuring quality services in a peaceful setting.

Nos engagements

Camping Appart'Hôtel La Rivière was a pioneer in eco-responsibility, being the first campsite in the Dordogne to receive the eco-label in 2010. We still hold the "Ecotourism in the Vézère Valley label today.

Located in the heart of the Grand Site de France Vallée Vézère, we implement various actions on a daily basis to reduce our environmental impact. Our impact on the environment: energy conservation, water management, waste reduction and sorting, working with local producers, sustainable transportation, and much more.

We are also very proud to be certified "Tourism & Disability" in all four areas, ensuring quality holidays for everyone. From April to September, we offer pitches for your tents, caravans, and motorhomes, as well as lodges and mobile homes. Throughout the year, we also rent apartments and studios. For short or medium-length stays, these accommodations offer all the comforts and promise complete independence. For those who prefer to travel off-season or for those looking for comfortable accommodation for a business trip, our studios and apartments will meet your needs.
